Former US President Joe Biden has criticized his successor Donald Trump's approach to resolving the conflict in Ukraine, calling it a modern appeasement policy. He made these remarks in an interview with the BBC.
"This is a modern appeasement policy," Biden said, commenting on Trump's stance.
According to the former US president, Vladimir Putin believes that Ukraine is part of 'Mother Russia.' "He thinks he has historical rights over Ukraine. Putin cannot accept the fact that the Soviet Union has collapsed. And anyone who thinks it will stop is foolish," Biden stated.
