Medvedev Responds to Trump's Statement
The assertion by U.S. President Donald Trump that the United States played a key role in the victory of World War II is "pathos-driven nonsense," stated Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia and former President of Russia.
"Trump recently declared that the United States made a major contribution to the victory in World War II and that May 8 should be established as a holiday. The holiday is not bad. However, according to the first conclusion, it is pathos-driven nonsense," Medvedev wrote on his VKontakte social media page.
