Communications Ongoing Between Russian Embassy and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry: Primakov
Russia and Azerbaijan continue to work on resolving the legal status of the 'Russian House' operating in Baku. This was stated by Yevgeny Primakov, head of the 'Rosseotrudnichestvo' agency, as reported by TASS.
'Communications are ongoing between the Russian embassy and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This issue is being addressed by legal experts and specialists in foreign policy. It is beyond our immediate jurisdiction,' Primakov noted.
According to him, the question of legal status remains open, but 'there are prerequisites for achieving a positive outcome.' He added, 'We believe that this issue should be resolved to mutual satisfaction,' in response to a question regarding the situation surrounding the 'Russian House' in Baku.
