Arrests at the State Revenue Committee
As part of an ongoing criminal investigation by the Anti-Corruption Committee, two individuals have been arrested on suspicions of receiving and giving large bribes. This was reported to Sputnik Armenia by the Anti-Corruption Committee.
One of the arrested individuals is an official from the State Revenue Committee (SRC). According to our information, he is a tax inspector in the SRC's complex inspections department, who allegedly demanded and received 4 million drams in exchange for not recording a violation discovered during an inspection.
