Trump Appeals to Zelensky
During the farewell ceremony for Pope Francis at the Vatican, U.S. leader Donald Trump urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to sign an agreement on resource allocation as soon as possible. This was reported by Axios, citing a source.
“During the conversation, Trump insisted that Zelensky sign the agreement regarding mineral resources between the U.S. and Ukraine as soon as possible,” the report states.
Earlier, Ukrainian publication RBC-Ukraine, citing sources, reported that the U.S. and Ukraine could sign the mineral resources agreement on Wednesday, April 30. One of the publication's informants noted that Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko is currently in Washington.
