I Think Zelensky is Ready for That: Trump

US President Donald Trump stated that, in his opinion, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to see Crimea as part of Russia as part of a peace agreement, despite Kyiv having previously rejected such proposals.

When Trump was asked whether the Ukrainian president was prepared to relinquish the peninsula, which has been under Russian control since 2014, Trump replied, "I think yes." Earlier, the US president had called on his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to "stop shooting, sit down, and sign an agreement."
