Putin's Proposal to the U.S. Revealed, FT Reports
Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed to the United States to halt the Ukrainian conflict along the current front line. This was reported by the Financial Times, citing three sources.
According to them, the president made this statement during a meeting with Steve Witkoff in St. Petersburg. “If the U.S. recognizes Crimea as Russian and guarantees that Ukraine will not become a NATO member, then Russia is ready to abandon establishing complete control over the regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia,” the publication stated.
It is also reported that Trump hopes the deal will be signed by April 30, so he can announce the implementation of his peacekeeping mission within the first 100 days of his presidency.
It should be noted that there is still no official confirmation of this information.
