Meeting Between Proshyan Residents and Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration Concludes
The meeting held against the backdrop of protests by residents of Proshyan and Kasan has concluded, while the government has not changed its position regarding the number 25 bus route.
During the meeting, which lasted approximately 2.5 hours and involved the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the demands of the residents of Proshyan and Kasan communities were discussed. Although citizens insisted that the number 25 bus route should not be removed, the government remains firm in its previous decision.
Meanwhile, the company owned by Gagik Tsarukyan, which operates the mentioned route, announced that it is ready to reduce the transport fare by 50 drams.
It should be noted that on Saturday, residents of Proshyan and Kasan blocked the Yerevan–Ararat road to protest against the possible cancellation of the bus route.
