Who Are the Suspects in the Assault of a Citizen at the Parakar Municipality?
The Armenian Investigative Committee's Ararat regional investigative department has received documentation from the community police main department of the RA Police's Vagharshapat division. These documents were created concerning a physical altercation that took place on February 24 near the Parakar community administration building, reports Shamshyan.com.
Operational information was received by the Ararat Regional Criminal Police Department of the RA Police that on February 24, a dispute occurred between the municipal employees and a citizen outside the Parakar municipality building. It was determined that the incident involved 34-year-old Erik Asatryan, a resident of Parakar village, 36-year-old Hrachya Sharoyan from Tayirov village, and 35-year-old Aram Sukiasyan, also from Parakar village.
They had a quarrel with 39-year-old Edgar Hovakimyan, a resident of Parakar, over a domestic issue, during which, according to operational information, they physically assaulted him.
Among the suspects, E. Asatryan works as a leading specialist in the departments of urban development, land management, agriculture, and environmental protection at the Parakar community administration, A. Sukiasyan serves as the deputy director-engineer of the “Improvement” department, and H. Sharoyan is the director of the “Improvement” department of the Parakar municipality.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Vagharshapat investigative division regarding this incident.
