Wind Will Intensify, Precipitation Expected: Weather Forecast for Armenia
From February 21-23, significant snowfall is expected across most regions of the Republic of Armenia, with particularly heavy snowfall in some areas on the 21st and blizzard conditions in mountainous regions, leading to low horizontal visibility. This information is provided by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center.
The wind will blow from the southeast at a speed of 5-8 m/s, with wind intensification expected to reach 15-18 m/s on February 21 and 24, and 17-20 m/s on the 25th.
The air temperature is predicted to gradually decrease by 10-12 degrees Celsius during the night hours of February 21-22.
In Yerevan, snowfall is also expected from February 21-23, with very heavy snow anticipated on the 21st. Dry weather is forecasted for February 24-25.
On the day of February 21, temperatures in the capital will reach -2 to -4 degrees Celsius, while evening temperatures are expected to drop to -5 to -7 degrees.
