Avinyan on Changes to Garbage Disposal Fees

In the coming year, garbage disposal fees will decrease for some individuals, while for others, they will increase. This was stated by Yerevan's Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a year-end press conference.

"On average, the price remains the same for apartments with a certain number of actual residents. For instance, in an apartment of approximately 60-70 square meters where four people live, the price remains unchanged. It was 200 drams per person at that time. Now, they will pay 13 drams per square meter. This means that for some individuals the fees will decrease, while for others, they may increase," Avinyan noted.
