PHOTOS: Chain Collision with 26 Vehicles - Clarification
A call was received regarding four different accidents. This was confirmed in a conversation with Aurora News by the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, addressing queries about the chain accident involving 26 vehicles in the Ararat region.
"Road traffic incidents have been recorded in the territory of Shahumyan village in the Ararat region. There have been no injuries, and no one was harmed. The accidents have been documented," the police stated.
Earlier, Shamshyan.com reported that a major chain collision occurred in the Ararat region due to fog on the road and certain drivers operating vehicles with non-winter tires. Around 08:30, in an area about 1.5 km long in the administrative territory of Shahumyan village along the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway, 26 vehicles of various makes collided.
The site noted that, according to preliminary information, there were casualties from the accident, but thankfully, no lives were at risk.
It was mentioned that the accident caused traffic congestion.
