Earthquake Near Bavra Village Felt in Armenia
On November 9, 2024, at 10:35 local time (10:31 GMT), the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia recorded an earthquake in the border zone between Georgia and Armenia, located 14 kilometers northeast of Bavra village, with geographical coordinates of 41.22° N latitude and 43.91° E longitude, at a depth of 10 kilometers, measuring 2.3 in magnitude.
The intensity of the tremor in the epicentral area was measured at 3 on the scale.
The earthquake was felt in Bavra, Saragyugh, Sizavet, Tavshut, and Ghazanchi villages of the Shirak Province, with an intensity of 2-3.
