Russian Base in Tavush Being Dismantled
According to the information from the Baghramyan 26 Telegram channel, the process of dismantling the Russian base established in Tavush, particularly near the village of Baghanis, has begun following its establishment in 2020.
It is worth noting that in April of this year, Prime Minister Pashinyan announced that the Russian outposts in the Tavush region would be removed. “The Russian outposts were established there due to a specific situation. What is happening now signifies a substantial change in the situation. This means that we do not have a frontline; we have a border, and the border is a sign of peace. It will indicate that the border guards of Armenia and Azerbaijan will interact with each other and will be capable of maintaining the border independently,” Pashinyan stated.
