Aregshat Community Leader Addresses Claims of Teacher Taping Students' Mouths
Reports have emerged indicating that a teacher at the Aregshat community school in the Ararat region allegedly taped students' mouths shut during class. 24News reached out to the community leader, Stepan Nikolyan, who denied the circulating information.
"This is false information; nothing like that happened. I know this teacher; he has taught me for 10 years and is a very good teacher. Whatever is being said is certainly a misunderstanding," Nikolyan stated.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia has confirmed that they have received a report and the materials have been forwarded to the Investigative Committee.
It should be noted that on October 8, information was received at the Ministry indicating that R.G., a class teacher at the Aregshat village school, had taped students' mouths during his class.
