Serious Issues in the Gas and Petrol Sectors, says Head of the State Revenue Committee
The Head of the State Revenue Committee, Rustam Badasyan, has stated that there are serious issues regarding the shadow economy in the gas and petrol sectors.
“There are companies that steadfastly do not change their behavior, and overall, the situation in these sectors is very concerning for me. Numerous monitoring measures are being implemented. Every month, we also publish cases of failure to provide cash register receipts, and you can see that almost all major importers and virtually all large companies operating in the sector have issues with the shadow economy. There have been multiple cases, and we have warned them — we will be vigilant. It is better for them to voluntarily enter the tax compliance sphere. Unfortunately, this is not happening, and regrettably, they continue to exhibit the same behavior,” noted the Head of the State Revenue Committee.
