Air Temperature Gradually Rising: Weather in Armenia
In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, dry weather is expected from September 2-6. This information was reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the announcement, the wind will be southeast at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with wind gusts expected to reach 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms. “On September 2 and on the evening of the 5th-6th, wind gusts of 14-18 m/s are expected in Armavir, the foothills of Kotayk, and Aragatsotn,” the announcement notes.
The air temperature is expected to gradually increase by 2-4 degrees today and tomorrow. Meteorologists warn that high fire hazard conditions are anticipated in the Shirak, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor foothills, the Ararat plain, and the valleys of Syunik over the next five days.
In Yerevan, dry weather is also expected until the 6th. Wind gusts of 14-16 m/s are predicted in the evening hours.
