High fire danger is expected in Shirak, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor foothills, Ararat Plain, and Syunik Valleys over the next 5 days. This information comes from the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center.
The center also notes that in Yerevan on the evening of August 31, brief rainfall and thunderstorms are possible in certain areas of the city. From September 1-5, dry weather is anticipated.
On August 31 and the evenings of September 1-2, wind intensification is expected with speeds of 14-16 m/s.
In the Republic of Armenia, after noon on August 31, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in certain regions, with dry weather continuing from September 1-5. Winds will come from the southeast at 2-5 m/s, with wind gusts up to 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms.
Moreover, on August 31 and the evenings of September 1-2, winds in Armavir, and the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn are expected to increase at speeds of 14-18 m/s.
The air temperature will gradually rise by 2-4 degrees from September 1-3.
