Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Comments on the Minsk Group Issue
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ayhan Hacizade has commented on the Minsk Group issue, stating that the attempts by Yerevan to reactivate the OSCE MG indicate a hidden agenda against Baku.
"The Armenian side’s efforts to restore the Minsk Group, which is a relic of the past, demonstrate that they have a hidden agenda against Azerbaijan," said the official representative of the Foreign Ministry, whose words are quoted on the ministry's website.
It is noteworthy that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan considers the possible dissolution of the co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group only achievable in the context of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, meaning when peace is a recognized fact.
"In the context of peace, we believe that such a decision can be made. And when peace is a recognized fact, the existence of such a format can indeed raise questions. The issue is about the timing. In my reasoning, one should not put the cart before the horse in any matter," Pashinyan said.
