Yerevan Schools to Operate on a 6-Day Schedule
In connection with the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity's 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17), which will take place this autumn in Armenia, classes will not be held in Yerevan during the event's week. This has been announced by the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
It is noted that instead, starting from September 15, schools in the capital will operate on a six-day schedule for five weeks. As a result, students will enjoy a two-week autumn break in October, instead of one week.
The UN Convention on Biological Diversity's 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) will be held from October 19 to 30, 2026.
