Putin's New Decision: Russia Ready for Permanent Visa-Free Regime with This Country
Russia is ready to cooperate in establishing a permanent visa-free regime between Russia and China. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
"We are ready for joint efforts to establish a permanent visa-free regime if the Chinese side considers it feasible and beneficial," Putin stated.
According to the Russian leader, the visa-free regime has boosted tourism flow between Russia and China by 43% in the first half of the year.
It is noteworthy that the Russian president arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. A meeting between Vladimir Putin and the Prime Minister of Armenia is scheduled for September 1.
