Baku Responds to Pashinyan
“Statements by the Prime Minister of Armenia that contradict the normalization of relations cause regret,” said Ayhan Hacizade, spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, moments ago.
According to him, “the accusations that there are territorial claims from Armenia in Azerbaijan's constitutional act are completely false. Attempts to draw parallels between the constitutions of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and to equate them, are unacceptable,” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a press conference today, during which he also announced that Yerevan presented a new proposal to Baku yesterday—to sign under the articles that have already been agreed upon, leaving the discussion of other articles for the future.
