Public Committee for the Defense of Gagik Tsarukyan Established

A public committee for the defense of Gagik Tsarukyan has been formed.

“We, the undersigned individuals, have jointly initiated the formation of a public committee for the defense of Gagik Tsarukyan. The foundation of this initiative is not solely the protection of one individual. Our main objective is to uphold human rights, justice, and the rule of law in Armenia. We are convinced that no citizen of our country should be subjected to persecution, retaliation, economic deprivation, or illegal encroachments on their property for political reasons.

At the same time, we emphasize that the committee for the defense of Gagik Tsarukyan is not just focused on his protection. Unfortunately, there are numerous issues regarding human rights violations, political persecution, and individuals deprived of their freedom in Armenia. We view all of this as part of a broader agenda for the protection of human rights. Our struggle is for justice, the rule of law, and the dignity of the individual.”
