French Ambassador Visits Spitak
The French Ambassador to Armenia, Olivier Decottignies, visited the city of Spitak to pay tribute to the victims of the earthquake that struck on December 7, 1988. According to his Armenian post on X, he stated, “Spitak was the epicenter of the devastating earthquake that occurred in Armenia on December 7, 1988. The city has stood up and is implementing numerous projects. Thank you to Mayor Mr. Kajair Nikoghosyan and the people of Spitak for their hospitality and this life lesson.”
