Expect the Next Cyclone from June 29: Gagik Surenyan
Another cyclone has passed, and we should expect the next one from June 29. This was stated by Gagik Surenyan, the spokesman for the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, on his social media page.
Previously, the center had reported that due to the incursion of a cold atmospheric front from the Black Sea region, rain and thunderstorms are expected throughout the country during the evening hours of June 26 and the night of June 26-27. In some areas, hail is also anticipated.
Intense rains are expected in Lori, Tavush, Gegharkunik, and Syunik. During thunderstorms, wind gusts are expected to reach speeds of 25-30 m/s. The air temperature is forecasted to decrease by 5-7 degrees during the daytime of June 26 and 27.
