Export of Several Agricultural Products from Armenia to be Temporarily Banned for 6 Months

The government made a decision during its meeting on June 13 to impose a temporary export ban on several products from Armenia to countries that are not members of the EEU.

Accordingly, a temporary ban lasting 6 months will be imposed on the export of several agricultural products, including wheat, meslin, barley, corn, buckwheat, sunflower seeds, and sunflower oil.

The domestic production of these products does not meet the demand in the Armenian market, which is largely supported by import volumes.
