EAEU Member Countries' Prime Ministers Sign Package of Documents
On August 7, during the 47th meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, the heads of government of the EAEU member countries signed a package of documents.
The package includes three agreements concerning electronic trade within the EAEU, mutual recognition of scientific degrees, and the possibility of mutual participation of brokers and dealers in stock market trading.
Documents were also signed regarding the annual report on the state of competition in global markets and measures to prevent violations of competition rules.
One of the documents pertains to the Eurasian Economic Commission's report on the ongoing monitoring of the impact of EAEU procedures on the situation within the union.
The dates and location for the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council were also decided. The next meeting is scheduled for October 1-2 in Minsk.
