Three Tankers Catch Fire at Kuban Oil Depot Following Drone Strike; Injuries Reported
The Governor of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratiev, reported that during the night of May 31, a massive drone strike resulted in three tankers filled with oil catching fire at the oil depot in the Temryuk district. There are reported injuries.
According to the information provided by Armenpress, he shared this update on his Telegram channel.
“The oil depot's infrastructure was affected by the airstrike. Three tankers filled with oil are damaged and are burning. Firefighting efforts are currently underway.... The fire is of a high degree of complexity. Unfortunately, there are injuries,” he wrote.
According to the governor, the injured are employees of the oil depot who are receiving medical assistance. The remaining workers have been evacuated.
Preliminary reports indicate that there are no significant damages. The regional leader emphasized that all drones were countered by the air defense system.
