Major Car Accident in Gegharkunik: 9 Injured, New Details

On August 26, at 16:35, the Gegharkunik regional operational management center received a report that a traffic accident had occurred on the Tsovagyugh-Vardenis highway, near the Shoghakat village. It was reported that two cars had collided and there were injuries.

A firefighting and rescue team was dispatched from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department to the scene. It was found that at the 27th km of the Tsovagyugh-Shoghakat-Vardenis road, a "Tesla" and a "Ford" collided, resulting in the Ford overturning, while the Tesla exited the roadway. There are 9 injured individuals.

The rescuers cut off the power to the vehicles and assisted the injured individuals, who were then transported to ambulances and hospitalized.
