Our Positions Are Absolutely Identical Here: Peskov

Russia shares China’s stance on the futility of holding a peace conference on the Ukrainian conflict in Switzerland without the participation of the Russian Federation. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, to journalists.

“China has initially spoken about the absolute futility of holding formats that exclude Russia's participation. China has stated this, and our positions are absolutely identical to that of the People's Republic of China,” Peskov said.

He added that China had emphasized this from the outset, and Moscow's opinion on the matter is completely in line with Beijing's position.
