Iran's Supreme Leader Calls on Muslim Countries

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has called on Muslim countries to strengthen coordination and mutual support, stating that the adversaries of Islam seek to inflame tensions among Muslim nations. This was stated in his message on the occasion of the Islamic Unity Week, dedicated to the birthdays of the Prophet Muhammad and Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq. The text of the message was released by the Supreme Leader’s press service, as reported by IRNA.

Khamenei declared that the artificial exacerbation of disagreements is a key strategy of Islam's adversaries aimed at weakening Muslim nations and establishing control over them. “The criminal leaders of the United States and the false Zionist regime are sworn enemies of Islamic unity and the entire Muslim ummah, including the peoples of the Middle East and North Africa. It is necessary to clearly understand who the real enemy is and resist its intentions,” stated Ayatollah Khamenei.

He urged the leaders of Muslim states to strengthen cooperation and mutual assistance, while calling on the citizens of Iran to not allow attempts to instigate internal disagreements. Khamenei also noted that positive experiences have already accumulated in Iran for advancing the ideas of Islamic unity, and urged the maintenance of internal cohesion.
