Zakhrova on the Border Demarcation Process Between Armenia and Azerbaijan
The demarcation of the state border between Azerbaijan and Armenia is crucial for regional stability, stated Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"We are monitoring the start of the practical phase of the state border demarcation between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This is important for regional stability. We support the resolution of all issues related to demarcation through exclusively political and diplomatic methods, based on the understanding that agreements must be sustainable, balanced, mutually acceptable, and serve as a foundation for achieving lasting peace in the region," she said.
Zakharova also confirmed Russia's willingness to provide advisory assistance to the parties on the demarcation issue based on tripartite agreements.
