VIDEO: Draft Law Proposes Online Notifications for Conscription and Training Gatherings
The National Assembly is discussing a draft amendment to the law on military service and the status of military personnel. Deputy Minister of Defense Hrachya Sarkisyan has announced that the procedures for notifying citizens about mandatory conscription and training gatherings will be regulated. As such, it is proposed to notify citizens via the internet.
“The notification to the citizen will be carried out by sending a notice to their email address, provided the citizen has consented to receive notifications exclusively through official emails,” he stated, adding that in this case, the citizen will be considered properly notified starting from the fifth day after receiving it.
