The Statue of Sayat Nova Unveiled in Ashgabat
The statue of Sayat Nova has been unveiled in Ashgabat. This event took place as part of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the famous Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fraghi. A park named after him was opened in Ashgabat, where the statue of the renowned Armenian medieval ashugh-poet Sayat Nova has also been installed.
The statue was unveiled by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Armenia to Turkmenistan, Ruben Khachatryan.
