Baku Court Examines the Extension of Ruben Vardanyan's Detention Measures
A petition has been submitted to the Sabail District Court of Baku regarding the extension of the detention measures for Ruben Vardanyan, the former Prime Minister of Artsakh, businessman, and benefactor, who has been unlawfully held in Azerbaijan since September of last year. This information was reported by APA.
The investigative department of Azerbaijan's State Security Service has approached the court with a request to extend Vardanyan’s initial detention period.
It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan accuses the former Prime Minister of "funding terrorism," "illegally crossing the state border," and "participating in the creation of illegal armed formations."
