Robert and Sedrak Kocharyan Arrested

Former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan and his elder son, Sedrak Kocharyan, have been arrested. The Anti-Corruption Committee confirmed this information to Auroranews.

It is noteworthy that earlier today, around 07:00, law enforcement agents raided the home of MP Levon Kocharyan, while Robert Kocharyan was taken to the Anti-Corruption Committee by investigative authorities.

Moreover, early in the morning, tax authorities sealed off the Yerevan office of the Toyota company. Currently, officials from the Anti-Corruption Committee are present at "Orange Fitness".

According to the Investigative Committee, criminal proceedings are underway involving investigative and procedural actions at the "Orange Fitness" club and "Play City" entertainment center, as well as in the directors' residences. The Kocharyan family holds stakes in these companies.

It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan instructed law enforcement yesterday to dispossess former President Robert Kocharyan and former President Serzh Sargsyan.
