Robert Kocharyan Transferred to Anti-Corruption Committee, Bagrat Mikoyan
This morning, President Kocharyan was transferred to the Anti-Corruption Committee by investigative bodies. This was announced by Bagrat Mikoyan, the head of Robert Kocharyan's office.
“The news that appeared in the press yesterday has been confirmed. Another assault by the authorities has begun against President Kocharyan and his family,” he stated.
It is noteworthy that earlier we reported that searches are being conducted at the homes of Robert and Levon Kocharyan. This information was obtained from Mesrop Manukyan, a member of the 'Hayastan' parliamentary group, on his Facebook page.
Auroranews.am contacted the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia to clarify the details. “In response, we inform that searches and other procedural actions are being conducted at several dozen addresses as part of a criminal case concerning corruption-related offenses,” said the spokesperson of the Anti-Corruption Committee, Marina Ohanjanian.
