VIDEO. "No one should try to resolve issues independently". Incident between a citizen and a police officer
During the march from Charentsavan to Yerevan, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan of the Armenia Apostolic Church's Tavush Diocese warned participants not to engage in self-activity. He advised that if any issues arise, there are qualified specialists to address them.
During the march, a police officer approached His Eminence Bagrat and informed him that one of the vehicles had collided with theirs but was refusing to stop, while they had given prior notice to stop in order to document the incident.
Archbishop Bagrat expressed his gratitude to the officer for their service and asked human rights defender Ruben Melikyan, who was also participating in the march, to speak with the officer and resolve the matter.
"Do not get involved in self-activity. No one should take on the role of a problem solver. Guys, that’s it. Everyone should move along. From now on, no one should try to resolve any issues on their own. No one should think they are the smartest or most knowledgeable. There are qualified people today who will address and resolve these matters. Please, let’s not interfere," Bagrat urged the participants of the march.
