56-Year-Old Man Steals Coin-Filled Box from Street Musician in Yerevan
On April 28, a theft occurred in Yerevan. Around 11:00 PM, agents from the 4th division of the criminal investigation department of the Yerevan city police, along with officers from the main criminal police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, were at the intersection of Sayat Nova and Mashtots avenues. They noticed a man stealing a box filled with coins that was placed in front of a street musician.
According to Shamshyan.com, the police immediately pursued the suspect, who threw the box during the escape. They managed to apprehend him and arrested him on reasonable suspicion of robbery, taking him to the Central Police Station. It was revealed that the suspect is Arsen H., a 56-year-old resident of Yerevan.
According to website reports, the robbery was reported to the police by Robert M., a 54-year-old Yerevan resident, who stated that an unidentified person had openly stolen the box filled with coins while he was playing music at the intersection of Sayat Nova and Mashtots avenues.
Documentation regarding the incident has been prepared at the Central Police Station and forwarded to the Investigative Committee's criminal division for the Central and Nor-Nork administrative districts in Yerevan, where a criminal case has been initiated on charges of 'robbery.'
