Two Gas Stations Cease Operations
Based on directives from the head of the State Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety Inspection Body of Armenia, the inspection authority conducted fire safety assessments at gas stations operating in the town of Vardenis and the community of Karchaghbyur in the Gegharkunik Province, focusing on compliance with normative-technical documentation requirements.
The fire safety investigation identified and documented violations of fire and technical safety normative requirements that pose a direct threat to the lives, health, and safety of individuals.
Considering the risks and degree of danger associated with the violations of safety requirements, the head of the State Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety Inspection Body of Armenia made the decision to suspend the operations of the aforementioned gas stations.
As a result of collaboration between the inspection authority and the Vardenis community administration, the gas stations operating in the specified localities have been completely decommissioned.
