Public TV Fails to Cover Issues of Voskepar and Kiran Communities, Journalist Claims
Public television is failing to report on the issues faced by the residents of Voskepar and Kiran. This was stated by journalist Narek Kirakosyan on his Facebook page.
“The First Channel, which received 6.3 billion drams from the state for 2024, lacks coverage of individual human issues. For example, Kiran resident Mher has no way to alert the public television about his home, which, according to his information, will be handed over to the enemy or the enemy will approach just a few meters from his house. The H1 channel, which reported for six months about the construction of a school building in Kiran, is now silent on how children will learn when the enemy approaches the building. I am asserting the claims of lack of coverage based on the absence of any report on the news channel's YouTube page. Moreover, recently, members of the ruling party announced in the National Assembly that the news channel will have nationwide broadcasting. This means it will also be broadcast in Kiran, and residents of Kiran will hear nothing about their situation,” he wrote.
