Number of Divorces Increased in January-February: Statistical Data
In January-February 2024, compared to the previous year, the number of marriages decreased while the number of divorces increased. According to the National Statistical Data, the number of marriages has decreased by 58 compared to January-February 2023. A total of 2,602 marriages were registered in the Republic, compared to 2,660 last year.
The number of divorces has also increased by 37 compared to 2023. In January-February 2024, 698 divorce cases were recorded in the Republic, compared to 661 in January-February 2023.
