Almost All Important Infrastructure in Kharkiv Destroyed: Terekhov
The Russian army has almost completely destroyed important infrastructure in Kharkiv. This was stated by the city's mayor, Igor Terekhov, in an interview with Liga news.
"I do not know what the enemy's plan is. Almost all important energy infrastructure is already destroyed, as well as private infrastructure. Russia wants to intimidate us, but that is impossible. Over the past two years, we have seen various threats, and there were times when only 300,000 of the original 2 million residents remained. The situation in the energy sector is very difficult," he said.
According to the mayor, despite the shelling and the threat of power outages, the city still has about 1.3 million residents, which is several hundred thousand fewer than before the war. To restore the destroyed infrastructure, at least $10 billion is needed, according to estimates.
