Video: Rescuers Retrieve Car from Arpa River

Rescuers have retrieved a car from the Arpa River, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).

On March 29 at 14:03, the crisis management center of the Vayots Dzor regional rescue administration received a call stating that a vehicle had become trapped in the river on the road from Vayk to Saravan village and that assistance from rescuers was needed to get it out.

A firefighting and rescue crew from the MES's regional rescue administration was dispatched to the scene. Rescuers located the car, a VAZ model (driven by Z. H.), near the 143rd km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway and successfully retrieved it from the Arpa River.
