Poland Raises Aircraft to Patrol Airspace
Poland and its allies have raised aircraft into the air. This was announced by the operational command of the Polish Armed Forces, according to TASS.
The reason provided was the "increased activity of Russian long-range aviation."
“We warn that Polish and allied aircraft are operating in Polish airspace, which may lead to an increase in noise levels, especially in the southeastern part of the country. This night we have observed the activation of the Russian Federation's long-range aviation,” said the command in a message on X.
The Polish Armed Forces have undertaken this measure multiple times over the past two weeks. On March 24, the operational command of the Polish Army reported a violation of its airspace near the border with Ukraine early that same morning. According to their theory, the object had entered Polish airspace in the vicinity of Osredkov, located in the Lublin Voivodeship near the Ukrainian border, and left 39 seconds later. In its statement, the command asserted that it was a Russian cruise missile. No evidence has been presented to support these claims.
