Sales of Ararat Brandy Factory Products Prohibited in Belarus: Reason Revealed
The Ministry of Health in Belarus has prohibited the import, sale, storage, and transit of products from the "Ararat Brandy Factory." This is stated on the official website of the state institution "Gomel Regional Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public Health." It has been noted that synthetic dye azorubine was found in the composition of "Ayrium" pomegranate wine. The reason for the import and sales ban is the incorrect labeling and falsification of food product data.
According to the decision of the Ministry of Health of Belarus, the entire batch of wine must be removed from commercial circulation and either destroyed or returned to the sender. To avoid confusion, it is emphasized that the "Ararat Brandy Factory" LLC (also known as "AKZ" ARARAT BRANDY FACTORY LLC) is not the same as the "Yerevan Brandy Factory."
