Inspection Halts Production Activities of Semi-Finished Meat Workshop
The inspectors of the Food Safety Inspection Agency's Lori Regional Center have conducted oversight measures at a semi-finished meat production workshop owned by individual entrepreneur Sergey Karapetyan in Vanadzor, Lori province.
During the inspection, it became evident that the workshop was operating in violation of established sanitary and hygienic standards. In particular, the ceilings and walls of the production facilities were not covered with waterproof, washable materials, which failed to prevent the accumulation of dirt; there were also signs of mold.
The authority responsible for food safety has suspended the production activities of the semi-finished meat workshop and set a deadline for the rectification of the identified violations.
