«Now there are two dilemmas» - Pashinyan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, addressed the timelines of school construction in the country. "To give you a good understanding of the background of what happened at the beginning of the year, I initially asked the question of when the work on these facilities would be completed. In all cases where there were doubts about the deadlines established by the contract, I said: give me the deadlines, but they must be adhered to. We went, and we saw what we saw," he recalled.
According to the Prime Minister, "Now there are two dilemmas. In one case, we can say, 'Yes, fine, build it when you will.' This means that constructions will continue indefinitely. The second option is to set clear deadlines, but those deadlines must be ironclad; otherwise, constructions could continue for decades or several years." He expressed interest in the specific completion deadlines for the construction of certain schools.
