Georgian President Vetoes Amendments to Election Code
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has vetoed amendments to the Election Code approved by the country's parliament. The president's comments, which consist of 11 pages, have already been submitted to the parliament.
Zourabichvili referenced recommendations given to Georgia by the OSCE/ODIHR and explained the use of the veto in this context.
