‘The French Will Not Die for Ukraine’: French Foreign Minister
France does not intend to send troops to Ukraine. This was stated by French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné during a broadcast on France Inter radio, as reported by TASS.
“The French will not die for Ukraine; we will not send troops,” he said.
Recall that on February 26, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that at a meeting in Paris, where representatives of around 20 Western countries discussed further support for Ukraine, the question of sending Western ground troops to Ukraine was raised. According to him, participants did not reach an agreement on this issue, but such a scenario cannot be ruled out in the future.
